Saddam Hussein

I’m not sure if I agree with the hanging of Saddam Hussein.
No person should think that what he has done to the Iraqi people is any good, but no good will come from taking his life. He’ll just be called a martyr by those that supported his cause.

Various video and photographic accounts of the hanging are already online and easily findable. You can see a censored video on Hotair and if you really want to watch the uncensored version, I’m sure you’ll be able to find it yourself.

How people can rejoice in watching the death of another, whether that person is a terrorist, dictator or tyrant, is beyond me.

Guardian: Saddam Hussein executed

In a prepared statement, George Bush cautioned that Saddam’s execution would not stop the violence in Iraq but said it was “an important milestone on Iraq’s course to becoming a democracy that can govern, sustain and defend itself, and be an ally in the war on terror.”

Independent: A dictator dies: but tyranny of violence goes on and on

“Saddam will be a hero in our eyes,” said Um Abdullah, a Sunni teacher and teacher in the town, who pledged to wear black to mourn him. ” I have five kids and I will teach them to take revenge on Americans.”
