I don’t really get what the big deal is about teaching children about sex education at a young age? The sex education I received at school was pretty abysmal, I’d even go as far to say it was virtually non-existent.

Cabinet ministers were among MPs who last night defied public anger and voted to carry on squandering taxpayers’ cash on furniture and home improvements.
Great. So our tax is still going to get spent on MP’s homes. I wonder what HMRC will say if I try claiming expenses for some new kitchen equipment and a cuddly toy? Surely this is fraudulent behaviour? What does kitchen equipment, burglar alarm, maintenance and service agreements, cleaning, buildings and contents insurance, rent on one additional home, TV license or a parking permit have to do with being an MP?
In the news today is some indication as to what MP’s are permitted to spend expenses on. To give you an idea, here’s a couple of things: Up to £10,000 for a new kitchen, £2,000 for furniture and £750 for a TV/Stereo for their second home.
That really riles me. How can an MP spend our tax money on items that we would normally pay for ourselves, out of our hard earned cash? Not to mention these are expenses for a second home.
If I, or you, were to try and claim back £10,000 from the taxman for a new kitchen, we’d probably find ourselves up in court on fraud charges. Why should an MP have any more rights to us?
A poodle owner is facing a £500 fine for dyeing her poodle pink.
Joy Douglas says she dyed Cici, her white miniature poodle, to call attention to breast cancer. She says she used beet juice and Kool-Aid.
The poodle owner, from Boulder in the US, was fined last week under a local law that makes it illegal to dye animals.
She should be fined for owning a poodle in my opinion.
An accountant is suing Marks & Spencer for more than £300,000 after claiming he injured himself during a shopping trip by slipping on a grape.
Alexander Martin-Sklan, 55, from Golders Green, north London, tore the tendon in his right leg in the car park of his local branch in June 2004.He said a piece of fruit found on his shoe after the fall could have been picked up inside the store or car park.
The retail giant is contesting the High Court claim.
Mr Martin-Sklan, who is representing himself, is claiming for lost earnings on top of his general damages, because “loss of confidence” and depression following his injury led to him being unable to recruit new clients and contacts for his business.
He also said the physical effects stopped him from skiing and playing football or tennis.
The hearing is set to last two days.
Fair enough to the injury and loss of earnings, but loss of confidence? What the heck’s that about!? That’s like saying the chicken legs in the meat aisle scared me so I’m becoming vegetarian.
