This follows on from my previous PowerBook Repair post in which we replaced a hard drive on a 17inch PowerBook.
My friend Adrian hasn’t had much luck with the PowerBooks that he’s owned. The first one got stolen several weeks after we replaced its hard drive. His insurance replacement has been working fine, then he fell asleep and dropped it off his bed. A few dents later, frustration, a quick search on eBay and a thorough read of an iFixit Guide brings us to the point of taking apart a fairly new PowerBook.

I plan to do something very stupid.
On October 13th, 14th and 15th a team of us plan to do the Two Moors Way. This, I was told, was going to be a 90 mile walk, however, it looks like the BBC have it listed as a 103 mile walk!
Most people walk this in five days, so why have I only listed three? We plan to run it…

Yes. That’s right. Some crazy fool by the name of Rob decided it would be fun to try and run the Two Moors Way and foolishly, I agreed. It only occurred to me last night, that I would be running more than a marathon every day. MORE than a marathon!

So here’s what I plan to do. I’m going to do this “fun” run for charity. I figure I’ll give it my best shot and even if I don’t actually finish the route, I think I will have achieved something!
I haven’t decided which charity to run for yet, but have a few in mind. I think the best way to ask people to sponsor me will be per mile, that way if I don’t finish, the charity still gets some money.

I’ll be making another post when things become clearer and if anyone would like to sponsor me to do this insane run, please either drop a comment to this post, email me or if you have my phone number (lucky you!), give me a ring or text message.

lotsa emails this way!
