I borrowed series 1 of House from Tim about six months ago. I started watching it on Monday and have just got to the last episode. It’s a good job he also lent me series 2 and 3. I think I’m addicted. Jennifer Morrison is also very pretty.

For those that know me, you’ll know I’m training to be an electrician and do various bits of household electrical work. This is what I came across this morning.

The lady whose house it was spoke to me on the phone initially and said she had a few dodgy sockets. This one was caused by a loose neutral in the plug that was inserted into the socket.
The other socket often had a washing machine and tumble dryer running through it simultaneously. To your average person that doesn’t seem to be a problem, but when you add up the total power being drawn you can see why that’s an issue!
