Brochure photos

Back in January I took some photos for a theatre room hire brochure. A couple of days ago I got a first copy of the brochure and I’m pretty chuffed with the results.

Unfortunately, they seem to have used an old stock photo of the theatre space, which looks a bit odd compared to my shots. It’s overly saturated and lacks any real details. Worst of all, it’s an old photo that doesn’t show the new seating and other improvements.

Any publicities good publicity and seeing as my names in the brochure, here’s hoping for some more work!

Today i’ve been working on a very basic website for The UnderGround Bar, a band night that i’m involved in at one of the theatres that i work at.

The UnderGround Website

We started doing band nights in late 2005, but they soon declined when one of the organisers left the theatre to start a new job. There’s been a lot of talk about getting them back up and running and finally, the theatre has endorsed the idea and actually put some money into marketing and staffing, which we were once devoid of.

The first UnderGround night is next Friday and i’m looking forward to it, for various reasons. Whilst i’m not a direct part in organising the actual night itself, i put the lighting, sound and staging into the bar area and then photograph the event, which i quite enjoy!

lotsa emails this way!
