Couldn’t resist posting this, it made me laugh.

I should have stayed in bed this morning. Instead I ventured out with around fourteen other people from our road to play golf in what must have been the worst conditions we’ve played so far.
We had rain and wind, which added up to a very cold day. I got back to the car and had problems undoing my laces because I couldn’t feel my fingers or thumbs. That said, we all played pretty well, which makes a change for bad weather!

I play golf every so often and I come to expect the risk that maybe I’ll be hit by a golf ball.

A woman who was felled by a ball while watching her boyfriend play golf in the summer of 2006 is suing the Owl’s Creek Golf Course for $1 million.

Crystal Timpanaro of Emerson, N.J., was hit in the left temple and eye by a stray golf ball and seriously injured, according to the lawsuit filed in federal court in December.

Timpanaro was sitting in a golf cart near the 16th tee on Aug. 24, 2006, when a golfer at the 17th hole shanked a drive that hit her, the lawsuit said.

Thanks to my friend Adrian, i’ve purchased a half set of golf clubs for a very good price.
My dads been getting into his golfing lessons and when Adrian asked if we fancied going out for a game on a 9 hole par 3 we couldn’t really resist. Plus it was a nice day!

I played as good as i could have done, considering i’ve never really played golf and really quite enjoyed it! So much so, when Adrian asked if i wanted his old set i took the offer.
We went to the driving range yesterday, which was good, and have a game planned for this Saturday morning with another of my friends. Brilliant :)

lotsa emails this way!
