National Geographic have posted a video of a Philippene carpenter who crucifies himself as a form of payment to god. The videos not too graphic and details the reasons for his yearly sacrifice.

Years ago, as Rolando Ocampo’s wife and baby daughter hovered near death on the delivery table, the Philippine carpenter began to pray.

“I told the Lord that if my wife would have a safe delivery, I would have myself crucified on Good Friday,” Ocampo says.

Its quite interesting the lengths that some people go through for their religion.
