As I said yesterday, I’ve been busy snapping away, experimenting with different flash locations and editing my photos in photoshop. I took this nice moody photo yesterday of one of my venus fly traps.

The original photo was relatively dark anyway, but I increased the darkness and colour balance to give an almost alien feel to these already creepy looking plants!

I purchased a new lense for my camera yesterday so I’ve been playing around with it today.
I decided to get a Sigma 17 - 70mm Macro lense. The idea behind this purchase is so I can get in closer to subjects and take slightly more intricate shots.
