I went to install an older version of flash player yesterday, as the WordPress image uploader doesn’t like version 10. Soon after starting the installer it flashed up with an error that a newer version was installed, and that it couldn’t overwrite it. So I trundled off to find a way to remove the other version and found that you have to download and run a completely separate application. I did that, and this is the window that was displayed for a good ten minutes.

The fact that the installer flashed up a new version was already installed within a matter of seconds, makes me wonder why the uninstaller took so long to find the plug-in! Is this a ploy to get people to quit the uninstaller in the hope they will carry on using flash?

Are all useless.

Interlink Express, City link, Parcel Force, you name them, they’re all as bad as one another.
You pay for them to deliver an item and they can’t give you a time so you wait in all day and the one moment you pop out to do something they arrive and you miss your delivery.

Surely they know their daily routes, which to me would imply they can give you a rough time of arrival. Even a three hour time bracket is better than nothing. At least then I know I need to be in between 9 and 12 to sign for my parcel.

You then have to go about the impossible task of contacting your “local delivery hub” to arrange an alternative delivery or check that pickup will be ok. The last couple of times I’ve phoned, its either been impossible to get through or the phone has rung continuously for ten minutes before anyone bothers to answer.

I now face a forty mile round trip to collect a parcel that I paid to be delivered.

lotsa emails this way!
