I’m a dance music fan, I’ll admit it. I like plenty of other music and have a fairly well balanced genre list in iTunes at the moment.
I got an email the other day about a new release coming out this Monday, so I had a flick through the iTunes store to see if I could pick the double CD up at a reasonable price. I was a little surprised when I saw the following.

iTunes Tiesto release

In any music store the new Tiesto album is a double CD.
Even Amazon stock it as a double CD for £8.98.

So how can Apple justify charging £7.99 for just one CD, when you can pick up the double album from anywhere else for £8.98 or possibly less?
Apple have purposely listed two separate CD’s and are charging £7.99 for each CD. I know where I’m going to be getting my copy of the album from, and it certainly won’t be iTunes.
