The Oyster Card… so efficient. Loved it. I wish they did something similar in NYC. I always have this fear that i’ll have to swipe the metro card a few times in order for it to process. By that time, an inpatient line forming behind me and the person/people i’m with, just looking at me from the other side of the turnstile as the subway approaches the platform.

It’s a good system and actually works. I’m not so keen on my every journey being able to be traced, but I’m not paying over the odds for using cash.
Not to mention the fact the plastic slip the oyster comes in makes a superb wallet……
As long as you don’t lose them!
