Steve Jobs outlined Apples plans to further their already fairly decent plans at becoming green.
It’s quite an interesting read and compares Apples recycling and removal of toxic chemicals and materials from the creation process of their products to other companies, such as Dell, HP and Lenovo.
PR “Green-washing” or genuine desire to change their current ways? Lets hope its the latter.

That articles from the beginning of April. The link I posted references a newly posted piece just this week because of the pressure from Greenpeace.
I’d say it’s a desire to change rather than green-washing. As it stands, Apple seem to be one of the more eco-friendly companies :)
As it stands - they aren’t. Little will have changed in a month - even if the will is there.
What comprehensive proof do you have that they’re not? Did you read the article I posted, It tells you what they currently do and are about to do…
Your mum mate!
AAAAAaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhh
I love you Dave, very much. Its definately not gay, but I do love you….
You always have liked to stir things :D
Nope, just pointing out how you’ve allowed brand loyalty to cloud fact…….
You’ve not given me any proof to indicate anything other, even though I asked for your proof..
Prove what? that they’ve changed in the last month? or that apple are victims of some sort of vicious smear campaign by greenpeace, and, are in fact an environmentally responsible company?
If its the latter, you’re pulling the wool over your eyes mate, a quick google search uncovers stacks of it, from reputable sources.
http://www.greenmyapple.org & http://www.greenmyapple.org/itox.html explains at length a catalogue of thoughtless policy and irresponsible behaviour, the latter link sourcing much of their information from apple’s own website!
Have a read.
If the former, well how likely do you think it is an enormous global company can make such a large change in its methods and practices in 4 weeks? Its not rocket science. If Steve Jobs is good to his word and a change is coming, then good luck, and well done. But it won’t have happened yet!
