George Galloway vs. Sky News
George Galloway doesn’t really do himself any favours, but he does make a few valid points and come backs against the interviewer. Worth a watch.

He might be taken a little more seriously if he wasn’t so aggressive in his manner.
Very true. But when some people get passionate about a subject, they vent it in an often uncontrollable manner.
I agree with Ben, his style is definately too abrasive. He clearly has an uncontrollable ego, and he can be damaging to the credibility of those who criticise Israel or the United States in a balanced and considered way. I can sympathise with those who find it difficult to do so, when such views are often identified with the likes of Galloway.
His arguments are often flawed too. I find his pro-Hezbollah stance sickening. He clearly views the situation through the same black and white looking glass as those who unquestionably support the actions of Israel, albeit at the other extreme. He ignores the complexities and contadictions of the region, and makes the common mistake that assumes one side has a monoply on righteousness.
As always, I have found somebody making the same point, but wording it much better than I can:
“The present eruption in Lebanon is the latest in a long list of major wars, smaller campaigns, two intifadas, terrorist attacks, suicide bombings and targeted assassinations that have bedevilled the region since 1967. Both peoples have been corrupted by the situation. Neither can claim moral superiority”
